Bloom stays organic, always anchored in a corner, and never becomes a character. The AI lives inside the product and steps aside when it’s done. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1555981300269-YW4TGG84GMVXBCSXI62K/image-asset.png portfolio - Amazon FireTV: Boot Animation The first thing you see when a FireTV turns on in an early generation of the product. I led a team of three, shaped the story, and directed the animation. To keep busy hospital screens readable, I stripped them down to shapes and rhythm, something I started calling ‘Implied UI. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1556048613126-AO6785ZNR8GS7LQPJIT0/EchoShowLogoReveal.gif portfolio - Amazon Echo Show: Logo Reveal Logo reveal for the Echo Show, built from existing brand assets and tuned to play cleanly on the hardware. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1558842956537-2Z3OEUJ8T5WJ4VG7B2M3/image-asset.png portfolio - Demo Reel https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1792191263048-923IWN6IFJ7PAE7EB86T/image-asset.png portfolio - Amazon FireTV: Home UX Motion Study A motion study of the FireTV home experience: landing on Home, scrolling through rows, and browsing shows while previews autoplay in the background. The Video team shot the footage, and I animated the app’s live stats and speed graphics and tracked them into the shots so they feel like part of the race. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1776953322446-IU780I4ZHHTWEO9IS0WM/image-asset.png portfolio - Oracle Design Week 2023: Theme Video Oracle Design Week is the company’s internal design conference, with a couple thousand people across the org. Ask Oracle was the answer: one field, on every page, where you can search, prompt the AI or take action, all in the same place. Just Ask Oracle. I animated the launch video, with the last 30 seconds animated by Fernando Orozco. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1555965029518-4D13O1BB04NWQ9LUX6H9/Playful_Pup.gif portfolio - Playful Pup https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1555966158653-9BYNLKFKL8ZPU51VOE8G/CountingSheep.gif portfolio - Counting Sheep https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1555961257856-1B47E6EGR7IPOT6XP02D/image-asset.png portfolio - Media Concept Visual Design: Sarah Smith https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1555971795429-AJUNBXHGLQFUJK5GM05C/CraneFlight.gif portfolio - Sakura https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1556912302148-2PA7A422LSLD8TBYU49A/presentationLoop.gif portfolio - Character Motion: Corporate Presentation https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1555965743443-RL0BI2HN0W6PD0U57WMX/Bike_Lady.gif portfolio - Woman on bike https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1555982093945-RIYJVLAOEHTPPXS8F4NO/AudioControls.gif portfolio - Tablet Audio https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1556480401893-6XDUJH6DESE5027RD79Y/image-asset.gif portfolio - Winter Weather https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5cbe0700a09a7e1206e0efd4/1555972849538-07GOJGG9MF9S2RQQVTT6/DelightfulMoment.gif portfolio - Mercenary: 3D Character Study (Unreal) From my time as the Lead Animator at Sony Online Entertainment on The Agency, a spy game about living the life of an elite secret agent.
